MPGA: Advancing Energy Storage through Biophysicochemical Stability Material

MPGA (Methylated Polyglycolic Acid) battery is a rechargeable battery that uses composite PGA as its main material. MPGA is a biodegradable and biocompatible polymer that is used in various medical and industrial applications. MPGA batteries have the characteristic of high energy density. Energy density refers to the amount of energy that can be stored in a certain volume or mass. Additionally, MPGA batteries have a high melting point, making them relatively stable at high temperatures of 85°C and also stable at low temperatures of -20°C.

The MPGA battery technology incorporates a streamlined tripartite configuration, encompassing Copper as the cathode (+), Aluminum as the anode (-), a separator, and a direct application of MPGA complexes—distinctly assigned to the positive and negative electrodes. Eschewing traditional electrolytes, the separator comprises a plain 100% cellulose paper. The operational dynamics of the MPGA battery entail the generation of electricity via chemical reactions, orchestrated by the orchestrated migration of MPGA power materials amid the anode and cathode.

The performance and characteristics of MPGA batteries specified in the specifications have been verified to be consistent through independent tests conducted by global companies. This demonstrates that MPGA can provide reliable and effective solutions in various energy application fields, proving the authenticity of the technology.

Revolutionizing the fuel cell industry, MPGA Battery Technology is the ultimate eco-friendly solution, surpassing current battery standards and paving the way for new markets with unparalleled functionality.

Methylated Polyglycolic Acid (MPGA) is the core component in the creation of MPGA Batteries, synthesized through a chemical process involving polyglycolic acid and glycolic acid. The resulting base material consists of polyglycolic acid molecules bonded with multiple glycolic acids. The fundamental principle of this technology revolves around the structure of a methylated (modified) polyglycolic acid complex, integrated with power materials to form raw materials for batteries with robust power generation and high efficacy.

Batteries made with MPGA material present notable advantages over lithium-ion counterparts, boasting high efficiency, output, safety capacity, and a remarkable 0% ignition feature that enhances power delivery efficiency. Manufactured in high-density hard gels, these batteries outperform all-solid forms using lithium ions, ensuring prolonged utilization with enhanced flexibility, essentially creating a super battery.

Notably, MPGA is fully biodegradable, undergoing decomposition into water and carbon dioxide via soil microorganisms, minimizing its environmental impact. Despite being a polymer, MPGA comprises numerous low molecular weight molecules that assemble into molecular groups. The strategic connection of multiple small batteries in parallel facilitates swift charging. In contrast to lithium batteries for electric vehicles, which often prioritize storage capacity or charge/discharge speed, MPGA Batteries uniquely will fulfill both requirements concurrently, establishing them as the exclusive solution in the global battery landscape.

Anticipate the arrival of a new era led by MPGA batteries, rewriting the rules of the industry and setting new standards in the field of energy storage.

  • 0% Explosion Hazard Rate

MPGA batteries make them suitable for applications that involve high temperatures, physical stress, or other hazardous conditions. They are particularly well-suited for use in safety-critical applications such as aerospace, automotive, and energy storage industries. The absence of an explosion hazard rate significantly reduces the risk of injury or property damage, making MPGA batteries a reliable and safe choice for critical applications.

  • Exceptional Low and High-Temperature Tolerance: -20 - 85°C

MPGA batteries can operate in a wide range of temperatures without losing performance or efficiency. This makes them suitable for use in extreme environments, such as the Arctic or desert.

  • High-Energy density
    Weight Energy Density: 428WH/KG
    Power Density: 625WH/L

    Cell Voltage: 3.75V

MPGA batteries have a higher energy density than lithium-ion batteries. They can store up to two to four times more energy per unit of weight or volume, which means they can provide longer operating times and higher power output for the same size or weight.

  • Long Life Cycle of up to 45,000 Charge/Discharge

MPGA batteries have a longer life cycle than lithium-ion batteries. They can last for up to 20,000 to 40,000 charge/discharge cycles, depending on the specific application. This is significantly longer than lithium-ion batteries, which typically last for 1,000 to 3,000 cycles. This longer life cycle reduces the need for frequent battery replacements and the associated costs.

  • High Charge/Discharge Efficiency:
    Cell Voltage 4.20V
    Charge Cut Off Voltage 3.00V
Self Discharge/Month <0.3% (In the room temperature of 25°C)

MPGA batteries have a high charge/discharge efficiency, which means they lose very little energy during use. They can sustain a charge/discharge effect of 99%, which makes them more efficient than lithium-ion batteries. This higher efficiency translates into longer operating times and lower energy costs.

  • Fast Charging Speed: <10 minute

MPGA batteries can be charged much faster than lithium-ion batteries. They have a higher charging current and can accept a larger amount of energy during charging. This fast charging speed reduces the downtime of devices and equipment, which increases their productivity and efficiency.

  • Almost No Battery Management Needed

MPGA batteries do not require any special equipment or procedures for maintenance, making them very easy to manage. They do not need to be stored in a specific way or require periodic conditioning, as is the case with some other battery types. This reduces maintenance costs and extends the battery's life.

  • Long Lifespan of Over 20 Years: 40,000+ Recharging Cycle

MPGA batteries have a long lifespan of up to 20 years with high energy density maintenance, which is longer than most other types of batteries. This longer lifespan further reduces the need for battery replacements, making them a more cost-effective and environmentally friendly option.

  • 100% Eco-friendly Product

MPGA batteries are biodegradable and harmless to humans and animals, making them a much more environmentally friendly option than lithium-ion batteries. They do not contain toxic chemicals or heavy metals that can harm the environment or human health.

  • Lower Production Cost: Savings of up to 50%

The production cost of MPGA batteries is up to 50% of that of lithium-ion batteries. This makes them a more cost-effective option, especially for large-scale applications. The lower production cost is due to the simpler manufacturing process and the lower cost of raw materials.

  • Miniaturization, Shape Variation, and Free Deformation: Hard Gel Type Formation

MPGA batteries are structured in a robust gel format, allowing them to take on various shapes and sizes, including thin films, flexible sheets, and even 3D structures. This adaptability in form factor positions MPGA batteries as an appealing choice for devices with unique shapes or configurations, such as wearables, smart textiles, and biomedical implants. Moreover, MPGA batteries exhibit high mechanical strength and toughness, enabling them to endure substantial deformation without a significant loss in performance. This quality is particularly advantageous for flexible or stretchable devices, as MPGA batteries can seamlessly adjust to the device's shape without the risk of cracking or breaking. The compact size and deformability of MPGA batteries make them a promising solution for a broad spectrum of applications, catering to the needs of flexible or stretchable power sources and unconventional form factors alike.

  • No Size Limitations in Production: Battery Size of up to 1m X 10m

MPGA batteries can be manufactured in large sizes, even up to 10m. This allows for the production of large-scale energy storage systems for grid applications, such as renewable energy integration.

  • Simple Production Procedure: Up to 50% of the Production Process

MPGA batteries' manufacturing process is much simpler than the complex chemical reactions involved in producing lithium-ion batteries, which require multiple steps and can involve toxic materials. As a result, the production process for MPGA batteries is easier and cheaper, making them a more cost-effective option. Additionally, the simpler production process means that MPGA batteries can be manufactured more quickly and efficiently, making them a more accessible technology for a wider range of applications.
